Sir just wanted to know, wrt Abstracts do the same need to be put in regional language or abstracts in english language will also do when displayed at retail shops. Thanks Upasana das

We do not have any special Act or provisions for exhibition of abstract of different Act & Rules for the retail shops. We are to first examine which the Acts are applicable to your establishment/ shop e.g. The Minimum wages Act, 1948, The Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972, The Maternity Benefit Act, 1961 etc. & then go through your applicable State Rules to find out Rule which directs us for exhibition of abstract of the Act & Rules. This related Rules tells us that in which of the language(s) we are to display the abstract & where it is to be displayed. In general I would suggest to display all the abstract in English language as per requirement of different applicable Acts & if the law enforcement agency ask you to display in any other language then also exhibit the abstract in that language too for sake of compliance.
