Hi,can anyone pls let me know that what is the mode of payment for this?Is it by DD or cheque and also the DD/cheque would need to be made in the name of ......................& where it is deposited?

u have to prepare DD FOR LWF ON behaloff "Labour welfare fund commisioner" & u need to fill up from-F it is avalaible at local Labour office
contribution u have to pay before 30th December for every year

Normally it is to be made by cheque for both the contribution,drawn in favor of 'The Secretary,......State Labour Welfare Board' and is to be sent to the ......state Labour welfare Board situated in your area/city. For the address of the office of the ...........state Labour welfare Board, you can search in the Telephone Directory.

Hi friends in my state
the employer contribution in 16 or Rs 500 whichever is big amount and employee contribution is 8 .
The mode of payment is by Cheque or DD , i will suggest you to be in touch with your states Labour Departement for notification and details .
I request to all cite hr members that as labour laws various from state to state so please kindly mention your state before posting your threat.

My best suggestion go to local labour commissioner office and collect the challan and cash deposit in the state bank of india, after depositing the challan acknowledge by labour commisioner office
