Dear my HR Friends
I am new to Manufacture Industry, I have a doubt that is it compulsory to maintain a labour contractor to get casuals, at present we are taking casuals on daily basis at around 20-30 members directly without any contractor. please advise in this regard.
Thanks in advance.

Goodmorning sir
In my manufacturing co.,there are 9 workers & 16 workers since last 2 months,we were told that we are not eligible for E.S.I registration but yesterday Mr Madhu told me that we are applicable...reason being that all the workers in our factory are our workers(including contractor workers)...
So tell me in detail..........hw to maintain their salary & E.S.I.........As the contractor bill includes his workers salary & E.S.I deduction, which he deposits & give us receipt of it

Dear Member,
You must knowing Mr. Madhu T.K. is our senior member having expertise in Labour & HR matters & therefore go as per his advice. While working with I do not deal in matters relating to ESI & PF. Even then it is hereby clarified that as you are employing 10 or more employees i.e. directly & indirectly in your manufacturing unit you are covered under the ESI Act & thus needs registration & other compliances.
Regards,
R.N.Khola
