I am MA Human Resource Mgt with CIPD postgraduate student needs assistance with 10 questions to ask the managers of Exxon Mobil on how the evaluate the effectiveness of training and development for my dissertation.

Dear Aj,
The most important is what is your objective. Is it only to evaluate the effectiveness of training and development? or is it something like how would they fulfill your obejctive post the training.
One way of doing is ask them about the pre & post training evaluation. This is the most important factor why we need training. There is no such specific questions however you can ask the following questions
1. How do you measure your training effectiveness?
2. How do you evaluate the participants?
3. How do you design your content?
4. What kind of training methods do you follow?

• To explore different approaches to the evaluation of training and development.
• To examine how Exxon Mobil implement and evaluate training and development.
• To examine how staff at Exxon Mobil benefit from training and development
• To assess how effective Exxon Mobil is in training and development of their staff.
• To draw some conclusion(s) and recommendation(s)
