Hi,
Yes, as per the PF Act you can fix an employee max Rs. 6500/- as basic. It is called ceiling limit, but this is respective company descrition to follow the ceiling limit or not. But 12% of Basic salary is fixed. It is a central Act and common in all states except J&K & Union Territories.
