Dear all,
I have a maid working at my house. She has a son of 18 years age. He is suffering from fits and other neural problems. I want to ask can she get the benefits of ESI by any means.
Please reply for this noble cause.

I hope it is not possible. A person whose salary is less than 10000/- and pays ESI Contribution of 1.75% in the contribution period only eligible for any medical treatment from ESI Hospitals in the Benefit Period.

Dear Vijay,
ESI is not applicable in your case and for newly drafted domestic act ,there is insurance covered for all servants and he/she will get benefits of medical insurance & pension.
all the premium has to be given by the master(by employer).
Soon you will get covered your maid in insurance policy.
Best Regards
