Hi,
I have been told that there are some ammendments in the rule regarding the elegibility for PF.
As far as i know PF is given from very first day an employee joins the company. But there are companies which are giving PF only after employee is confirmed after probetion.
Is it legal?
I have also come across someone saying that an amendment has been done in the Act and for a certain initial period employee may not be given PF...
Hoping to receive valuable inputs.

Hi deepti
Sudhir is quite all right. There is some amendments in the PF withdrawal/ loan rules. Presently I am not having the details of changes but as soon as I get it I will post it for information. Otherwise PF is applicable from very first day of joining.
