Hi,
2 yrs ago when i started my career in a bpo i joined a company and left that because of family reasons. I left the company without giving them any notice. Now after 2 yrs can i join back the company if i get selected in the interview?
Will there be any problem during verification?
Plz revert back with appropiate answer...........

sounds to me like you left on bad terms. If the HR manager is the same perhaps they may have an issue. But other than that i don’t see a legal issue.

Ideally companies have their database where Employee details are alwz there
But incase if they dont have 1,than you are lucky dear.
Usually these days database of employees are there in every companies evn if the HR Manager changes.Rarely you would find one where employee details fter leaving is not uploaded.
My personal suggestion would be that be honest and tell them you worked and give them some genuine reasons of leaving rather than loosing good opportunity in future 4ever.
I too have faced the same condition wherin i joint the same company after 3 years. Its good to be blunt rather than loosing opportunity 4ever in that company by hiding things.
Orels there are lots of options in othr BPO's as this is the best industy to work in from all point of view-(money,leisure,good benefits, transport & not so hectic lyf which is vry important). There is alwz other side of the coin
Good Luck & GOD Bless

I believe it is better to tell them the reasons and join, any how they may be knowing through other sources over a period of time which will be very embrassing for you. regards - kameswarao

Hi there,
If the company has a resigned database, they could find ur name and you might not be denied of the job, but might pay them a penalty for the notice period not served, access card and id card.
as the company has not terminated you, dont worry, be clear and tell them the reason for leaving the company and assure them that you would not do the same again and make them realise that you didnt get into a diff company but had again returned to your parent company... HR would certainly love these words.......
Might be in case the executive denies, take a step ahead and request the manager and put across your issue in a professional way....
All the very best.

Priya

U dont have to worry..Be transparent & give some genuine reason..
As I have mentioned in my previous post the best thing is to inform them coz of later on if they come to know it would be an emberassing sitution...
Be relaxed & go there with full confidence.Since you are true you dont have to worry. The best thing would surely hppen irrespective of you got the job or not..
Good Luck Again..

thanks for reverting back.......well i am not concerned about legal issues because if there would have been any legal issue then it would have happened in this two years. what i am concerned about is if i join then can the company throw me out when they will find that i have already worked with that organisation and left them without any notice?

Hi Priya,
I think we should not underestimate HR. The BPO normally have their databases for employees. Now, if we have failed to give the notice it is not an issue as far as the employee is transparent.
I personally think BPO industry behaves very normally to the in-notification before leaving except for few.
So i think it should not be much of a problem.

Look, it really depends on the company.
Some companies shelve their abscondee list after a period of time and some don't. They black list your name. Get a hold of some one who is still in the company and try to have them find out how they deal with abscondees.
Also on an advisery note: No matter how long ago your leaving of a company without proper formalities will always be seen in a bad light only by any HR. Be honest about the circumstances that made you do so. All the best.
