can anybody tell me what are the usual steps to manage attendance online? say for instance, if we are using the swipe cards for tracking attendance, how do we keep the record?
I have been going thru the postings, but right at this point of time, our organisation wud not be interested in buying any attendance tracker system.
It would be good if anybody could give me a step by step guideline.
I also need the details for the online leave management system.

Thanks suneetha,,,,,,,,,,,,,,But I am not looking for this..............we will build our own software to track the leave and the attendance thing........I want to know how to go bt this? I have already mentioned this in my post that we are not going to shell out any money to any third party for this...............I want your help to guide me through a detailed step by step process...........I am again repeating.say if we arrange for swipe cards....how the software wud help in tracking the attendance?..............since you all have alreday worked with software, it would probably be easier for you all to help me out with the implementation of the same. OR if you know of any free website, where I can learn how the process works, just do let me know...........I need this info on a very urgent basis..........
