Dear Rakesh,
It is clarified that the extension on the applicability of Shop Act is notified by the govt. area wise. Municipal areas are declared for coverage & jurisdiction of the Inspector. As in Haryana the Act applies through out the state of Haryana while previously this was also applicabe city wise. But this does not mean that if your unit is now not in the committee area then the Factories Act will be applicable to you. In Haryana BPOs are not covered under the Factories Act. The Labour Department is not Considering them doing any manufacturing process. So meet the concerned senior officer of your area regarding this matter.
