Dear Seniors,
Presently i am working as HR/Business executive in a software company. with 1 year of exp in this company in HR domain.
I started my career as software professional in ERP, in which I worked in Human resource & Finance module as developer. That time I enrolled in symbiosis distance learning in MBA(finance). Due to some cicumstances I just completed 1 year of that program and now after 1 and half year I am giving the rest examz.
But now as my field has been changed, for getting a job further in HR I need to have MBA in HR.
Please guide me is there any short term certification or 1 year HR program that I can do because anyhow I'll be an MBA but in finance.
Please advise me what can i do now.
Thanks,
Swati

Dear swati
you didnt mention from which university you are doing your MBA. If possible ask your faculty members... May be they can give you a better advice.. On a different note..if you cant choose HRM as your major area then you always have a option to do some Diploma like PGD etc. and have you heard about PHR/SPHR/GPHR...this sort of degrees before?...which will help you to be more focused on your career related with HR professional...be safe and happy.

Dear Swati
MBA in finance would have given you good knowledge in payrolling. You can enhance your knowledge in the same. This would help you since in some companies payrolling is a part of Finance Dept.
I think it would be good to concnetrate more on practical knowledge part.
