Sadly there is no specific correspondance course devoted for competency mappnig. However you have short terms courses from CII, IMI, IPC, etc - one or two day seminar/lecture on the subject that is declared from time to time. (You also mention them in your CV).
Additionally such courses are part of larger courses on Employee Development, Orgl Devt, Training & Development, PMS, etc.
There are variuos methods of mapping competency and it needs to be fine tuned in accordance with the company where you need to implement it.
Let me know if you need more details.
Cheers

These Recession days Competency Mapping is time wasting element in HR Manageement because management agenda is to promote business and not to conduct any research on employee psychology.
Now, managements are more wise and cleaver they do not fall in the trap of these time wasting HR tactices. Because this Competency Mapping is clerical record keeping of psychology data which did not yeild any revenue to the company.

Competency mapping as such, there is no course or subject that one comes
across generally. What i have seen is that, it is taught by industry experts in
a seminar/symposium. So, look for such kind of opportunities.
Also, do'nt just wait for such opporunities. Rather you could start by
reading and exploring topics on competency mapping.
Indian Society for Training and Development has a few chapters
on competency mapping in its Diploma course.
By reading and understanding the subject, you would have acquired
a great amount of knowledge.
Also, i would suggest you to register yourself on www.linkedin.com
and network with industry professionals in your same field of interest
- domestic and across the globe.
