Hello HR Professionals,
EmPower Research, a global research and media services company, is conducting a pioneering study on Social networking sites and their use in recruitment in India.
As part of our research, we would like to include the views of experienced HR professionals, like you. Your input will be invaluable in helping us understand the recruitment practices being currently followed, the contribution of the social networking sites to these, the concerns and the benefits and future directions.
The attached questionnaire will not take more than around 10 to 15 minutes of your time. Your responses will be helpful for us in carrying forward this research. Please email the completed questionnaire to
If convenient, we would like to conduct follow-up interviews over the next 3 weeks, so if there are any days/times that are more convenient for you, please let us know. Our focus areas would be the present scenario and future trends in recruitment, the contribution of social networking sites to these, and the concerns and the benefits over conventional methods of recruitment.
We look forward to your input to our groundbreaking study – if you have any questions, please contact EmPower Research at <researchpaper@empowerresearch.com>.
We thank you for your co-operation.

Dear Sajal,
I am rather surprised that a global company has chosen this mode of survey, instead of using a web-based one. Do you expect people to spend time downloading the questionnaire, answer, save and then send it you as an attachment? If so, the response rate will be very poor.
