hi all..i have also cleared the written exam of sbi associates.
i also gave interview for allahabad bank po but cud not get selected.
i can share you my experience in the interview with you.
my interview was on 16th june.
first of all they asked about myself and about my family.
as i have been preparing for bank po for last 7 months, they asked about a banking term.
than they asked me that you have very good academics than why are you not preparing for civil services. this was the question which i think i cud not convince them with my answer.
banks do not want to take the quys who are extremely good or bad. they just want to stick upon the average guys who will not leave the organisation later on.
as i am from a technical background they asked me some technical questions also.
i would like to suggest you to prepare some answers with which you can convince them that you will not leave the bank if you get a better opportunity. Also give more attention to your subjects and basic terms of banking like repo, reverse repo, slr, base rate etc.
