there was this HR company (BPO dealing in HR) in Mumbai, which gave me an offer letter in 2006 (before doing MBA in HR from 2006-08). The job out there was purely related to HR. After they gave me an offer i joined the co. and attended the training for 3 days.. however, after 3 days i thought i shud leave the company and i left it cos they were changing the timings and making the whole training as night shift.. even the work timing out there was supposedly night shift. so i left the comapny after attending 3 days training. so wntd to ask is it okay if i again apply in that company?will it work?

Thanks for the query.
I tend to agree with Vijay. As you left the company even before completing the training, they may not consider your application favourably.
Have a nice day and wish you all the best.

dear rinki,
it sometime happens that candidates join their previous employer. It totally depends on your PR that how your PR is strong with the people of that company.
But in your case you cant apply there as you haven't even completed your training over there and without informing them you left that company. I think before joining that company you know the timings that the job will be of night shift but after knowing that you joined there as trainee but at the end of the day you left. So better you forget about that company.

Most BPOs blacklist candidates who leave without notice, and there personnel file is marked as "Unfit for rehire". This is done so that in case any such employee comes later, and the team/management has been changed, they can always go back to the file.
Sometimes companies do call back such candidates also because they dont want to go through the entire cycle of sourcing again, and also to get a feedback as to why they left in the first place, but you should never join back at the same designation, if you have worked elsewhere.

Hello Rinkie
You will have to justify yourself, for which the reason, you have dropped your plan to continue with this employer. I feel because of night shift. You should have discussed with your employer, before discontinuing. Even now, if the employer is good, you can have a discussion and the terms are agreed and you have no other option, but to join, in that case, you can join for the time being. So that having qualification with experience, you may get more chances to shift out quickly. There is no harm in joining again the same employer if the relationship, between you and employer are not broken.
