Dear All,
I am working in a manufactring company where 3oo+ workers are working.
Now as per legal requirement the entity should have Certified Standing Orders. Previously it was governed by Model Standing Orders (Industrial Employement) Act.
Can anybody give me draft of Certified Standing Orders and procedures to get certified standing orders, so that I can get clear picture.
Waiting for reply.

Model Standing Orders given in the Industrial Employment Standing Orders Act itself can be the base for you. Once the provisions are discussed, whatever modifications required are made on it in sonsultation with the employees you can send it to The Labour Deptt, (Asst. Labour Commissioner of the area) for certification. Once the drafted standing orders are certified by the competent authority, ie, the Asst. Labour Commissioner, it becomes your 'certified' standing orders.

Hi,
Standing Order applies for industries having 100 or more workmen employed.
Within six months from the applicability of the Act, employer has to submit the 05 copies of draft Standing Orders to Certifying Officer.
