Hi Sushma,
Let me introduce a game called Chirs-ma - Chirs-child.
It is a lovely game that is being played in almost all corporate houses, and other offices. Its a popular game, where the spirit of giving gifts is celebrated. This game starts in the 1st week of December say 15 days before christmas.
This game has certain rules. Everyone picks up a chit where a person’s name is written. The person who picks up the name is the Chris-ma and the person whose name appears on the list is the Chris-child. Now the Chris-ma is supposed to give gifts to her/his Chris-child, and the Chris-child should not know who his/her Chris-ma is. The Chris-ma must remain a secret; he/she will leave gifts for the Chris-child where it will reach him/her.
Normally Chris-ma will leave the gifts on the Chris-child’s desk when he/she is not there, or ask someone to hand it over without revealing the identity of the Chris-ma. On all the days leading up to Christmas gifts will be given. Then on a specific day (two days before christmas) the Chris-ma will be revealed to the Chris-child and the Chris-child ends up giving the Chris-ma a gift. It is a thank you gift for having left presents for all days, and also a way of wishing a very Happy Christmas.
It is fun playing this game. The Chris-ma can leave instructions for the Chris-child, ask him/her to perform some task, wear some particular dress, or dress of a particular color, wish people in a particular way, etc. It depends on the imagination of the Chris-ma. And it is fun if the Chris-child follows all the instructions. It is all fun and games, one is supposed to let one’s hair down and join in.
This will even help the teams to come out of the shells and help understand each others tastes and act upon the instructions to overcome the shyness.
It will be a good game to introduce in cooperates and MNCs and all kind of organisations.
Try it out to see the results.
Have fun
