Hi, Please confirm during lockdown if we failed to make the payment of PF is there any late payment/damage charges apply. is there any notification by govt.

EPFO had extended the due date for payment of PF dues for the wage month of March 2020 up to 15.05.2020 vide its circular dated 15.04.2020.
Further EPFO has given relief from levy of penal damages for delay in deposit of PF dues during Lockdown vide its circular dated 15.05.2020
For your late payment, you are liable for interest as per applicable slabs.
Both the circulars are attached herewith for your ready reference.
