Hi All, I have mention the wrong gross salary in ESIC monthly contribution. Actual Gross salary is Rs 12000/- but I mention Rs 11000/- how I can rectify this as once ESI challan is submitted we can delete the same. I tried to submit the difference amount as supplementary contribution but getting this error, figure should be greater than the previously submitted contribution. Please suggest me the solution.

Recently I have posted the above query, after doing RND, I found the solution for the above query. Below given are the steps which you can follow if you do some mistake while submitting the monthly ESIC contribution.
1. Go to the monthly contribution- select the supplementary contribution
2. Fill the IP no. of the desired employee, fill the correct info and submit the contribution. In my case in mentioned gross salary as 12ooo/- and submitted the supplementary contribution.
3. For generating the challan, go to the Generate challan tab- select the challan month- click on the month and fill the difference amount in the amount column and generate the challan.
