Dear friend,
You mean the 2 deductions as employee & employer contributions to PF? If so employee contribution will only be shown in your salary slip. The employer contribution is not deducted from your salary as it is contributed by employer.

Hello,
He is right, because employer contribution of PF is never shown in Salary slip / pay slip. You can check it (employer contribution of PF) in your PF member account via UAN portal or Member Portal.

Dear Sumit,
You have not mentioned amount of two PF deductions in ur Pay slips. There are three main components (from employer point of view) while PF deduction and deposited. They are (1) Employee EPF Contribution (12%) (2) Employer EPF Contribution (12%) (3) EPF Admin Charges (EDLI, Admin etc.-1.36%).
While the Employer deposite the EPF all the above deposited under difference heads. Some companies deduct the NO. (3) deductions as well from the employee salary. (which shuld be deposited by the employer from his pocket). In some cases it is noticed the ADMIN CHARGES also deducted from employee salary.
If it is so, as I m assuming, you can ask ur employer not to do so. Being covered under EPFO, it is the responsibility of the employer to deposit the admin charges from company account.
If u need more clarification, pls share ur salary figures and amount of double deductions. The forum memebrs will try the best to clarify u the same.

Dear Sumeet,
Nowadays companies are deducting PF from your CTC/Package. The employee contribution and the employer contribution together forms your package. The employer does not pay/contribute from their side. This is deducted in your salary, there will be two deductions only one i.e. your deduction will be mentioned in your salary slip. Companies are now using this tool as earlier this was not the case.

Dear Shashank Sheode,
CTC means Cost To Company. So employer contribution is paid by company/employer itself. If you feel that it is deducted from employee salary, you may approach the EPF Enforcment Officer, Labour Department etc. as it is a statutory obligation to remit employer contribution to EPF.

Dear Sumit,
Your fellow and experienced members have provided best suggestion to u based on their experience & knowledge. There were some confusion as well.
Hope u have deeply gone thru all the views, now its ur turn to share ur output on the matter.
Dear all members, it is really a matter of concern that needy members put their querries into the forum (sometime the querry/ies contains lot of gramatical mistakes, improper abbreviations, unnecessary short forms (like typing a whatsapp message).
The dedicated and experienced memebrs provide the best solution/s based on their experience, Laws & Regulation laid down by govt. authorities. Even sometimes hard copy documents like court judgement/s, notification, Section Reference etc also provided to the needy person/s.
Later on it is noticed the person started the discussion disappeared without giving any information about the suggestion.
The experienced members are always in the opinion that they have provide useful suggestion/s. The opinion is doubtful till we recd. back up from the needy person. May be on practical ground he/she has to put some extra effort to resolve the matter to his/her satisfaction.
This is a platform for person/s who are in field / job of HR, Legal, Compliances, Administration etc. We learn a lot to share our views with other members. But in a discussion all suggestion are not useful on practical ground. But the learing process can go to wrong direction, if we don't recd. the final outcome from the member.
It is earnestly requested to all members (who started new discussion) to share the final reviews and outcome on the discussion they started.
Thanks in advance,
