I am working with CTS as a associate, Joint as a PAT in Pune,India. Recently I moved to onsite WA,USA on H1B.
I needed some info on Cognizant\'s Notice period and relieving policy for those associate like me moved from india to US on Cognizant US Payroll.
I have searched all CTS internal websites, but couldn\'t find any information reg. They have mentioned two weeks of notice period for cognizant US but i\'m not sure whether this will apply on ME as i moved from india to US two months back.
Can anyone please helpout if anybody have any such information regarding CTS policy..:?: I got the 60% hike at onsite but just because of this confusion i\'m not able to think as the new employer want me to join within 3 weeks. Pls help

Hi Raj111300,
I am in the same boat as you were in Mar'2013, The new company is looking to give 2 weeks of notice period of time . A little background for me, I joined CTS India and got transferred from Cognizant India to USA.
1. As per the transfer letter I employment with cognizant is "At-will" and India offer letter it is 60 days notice . Can you please suggest me if you resign in USA, What will be the notice period ?
2. How was your experience with H1-B Transfer ?
2.a)Did you Resigned after the getting H1-B transferred to new company , As New company is not ready to wait till the visa transferred ?
2.b)How much risk involved if I resign after the after receipt of H1-B transfer is acknowledged ?
4. How was your experience with CTS separation , Your comments will highly appreciated.
