Hi Ms. Shwetha,

First of all let me congratulate you for the interview call for the position of trainer. Very rarely fresh MBA graduates have an opportunity to enter into training domain.

Please take note of the following:

1. Please go through the company website and thoroughly understand the organisation's training activities/needs if possible.

2. As you are a fresher and have no experience in training, you might be asked basic questions like

a. what should be the qualities of a good trainer

b. why do you want to become a trainer

c. have you conducted /participated in any training programs during your college days.

d .why is training important.

e. what is the difference between training and teaching.

f. how can you attract the attention of the participants to whom you are imparting some training.

g. what should be the length of any training session.

h. what should be the contents of any training program.

i. how will you start and conclude a training program.

j. Once training is conducted, the next step is very important-Feedback. How effectively can you take feedback.

3.Your communication skills during the interview process play a very vital role. You should not show any sign of tension. Its a strict NO for any trainer.

4. Please carry yourself very confidently. Do not wear distracting clothes. Carry a very good pen. Always remember that trainer is always observed keenly by the participants. Body language is very important.

5. If possible prepare one small training module ( you should be able to conclude in 5 minutes). For example, product training-pen/mobile, etc

Please include- what is this training about/ objectives of the training/ what the participants would learn by the end of the training/ main content/ conclusion/feedback.

6. Do not speak anything extra. answer to the point.

Above all please pray and go.

Please check out what other forum members got to say.

Wishing you all the best.

Regards,

Alex
