I (am a woman) was hired as a fresher in a bpo as an HR executive. Since my performance was satisfactory I was given alot of responsibilities Like org wide fun activities and managing my responsibilities of an executive too. 3 months ago an AVP (woman) operations decides to give me feedback by saying I'm not focused at work and asks me if I am dating someone from work.
While I cleared the air I am focused and not dating anyone she now picks on me by tagging me with an agent which and then stating its biological coz man n woman are made differently and that I may think I'm attractive n people are paying attention hence the lack of focus.. which isn't the case! I have actually decided to move out from the process she leads else quit which was. Informed to my senior manager which was found out by the AVP and she tells me its no big deal. I don't know what should I do since I've completed 15 months and it's been humiliating for me to work this way.

Dear member,
If you are HR Executive in BPO, then you must be reporting to some senior HR. Did you discuss your problem with your reporting authority from HR? If yes, what was his/her take?
If your performance was not up to the mark then why AVP (Ops) gave this feedback to you? Why not your HOD?
Since we do not know the internal dynamics of the company, it will be difficult for us to give our opinions. Secondly, have you given your formal letter of resignation? If yes, then are you on notice period? Instead of quitting company, was option of change of department available to you? If yes, then why you did not avail of that?
Thanks,
Dinesh Divekar
