Hi !
Thank you for reply.
I have completed Bcom and am pursuing PGDHRM from Symbiosis, Pune.
I wish to build a career in HR.
I have been associated with a charitable org from the past 4 yrs. Later I had got an opportunity to work as a relations officer, training coordinator and administrator. In my this 4 year career I never accepted any salary coz this organization has taught me a lot and its very close to my heart. Now, i wish to pursue a career in HR and would like to switch into IT or ITES sector.
I need some guidance on the following query: - :?
Ø How can i start my career into HR in an IT or ITES sector?
Ø Since I have not yet completed my PGDHRM, will I get an opportunity to work into HR now?
Ø From which level do i need to start?
Ø How should i analyse whether the job is right for me?
Ø Can my experience some how get counted to get me into HR?
Awaiting for a reply from your side.
Thank you :)

Dear Ruhi,
You already have an experience in admin/relationship officer, so would not be considered a fresher..as it is part of HR, but you also have an experience as a trainer.. which is booming in ITES..you can as well continue as a trainer.........if you are keen on hr, join in recruitments ITES is easy for you, as you can screen them well... but you may not be paid well initially once you complete a year in recruitments try for some good companies into core HR activities for exposure..........you need not be a qualified MBA/PGHRM..if you are good at PR Skills, good counsellor and lot of empathy towards people which are the basic necessities you can get along, simultaneously try to complete your HRM course....INFACT I AM A SCIENCE POST GRAD with PRO exp, only after recruitments i got an oppurtunity in core HR.....trust me it needs lot of patience.................full of spirits...but definitely not an easy task.
ALL THE BEST :) :) :) Hope it was of some help to you...

Hi Ram,

I just came across some posts where you were answering career questions and felt the need to contact you in reference to the same for my wife.

I recently got married and my wife now wants to work.

She is a BCom, MCom and a PGDIT (one year).

She has worked with me for 2 months as a Collection Agency Employee while I used to work with as a Regional manager at GE Money Chandigarh about 3 months back, which is also not on papers. Hence, She is a fresher.

We are all now in Delhi staying close to Noida.

She doesnt have any other experience in her kitty as of now.

She is inclined towards learning and is ready to take challenges in the beginning of her career either in the field of Accountancy or in IT/ITES.

I would like to take this opportunity to ask you a few questions....

Which field should she enter ?
Is there a course that would help her get an excellent salary package ?

The goal is to have a faster growth and an excellent salary package.

You can reply to me here or directly at my email address

If you may call my wife Kulwinder Bedi directly at her phone number 9818857875, it will be so kind and nice of you.

Thanks and Regards,

Harkirat Singh Bedi

I am able to unravel the innermost strengths of an Individual and can advise on what could be the best possible career choice.
