In the month of July 2020, one of the employee's EPF amount was shown as settled but that money was not credited to her account due to wrong IFSC code approved in the portal earlier. Later on the correct IFSC code was updated and approved in the portal and even the Re authorization letter was submitted at the Regional Office for amount reimbursement. PF authorities informed that they have not received the Reverse Amount from the Bank and asked her to wait for another 15 days from today. Generally heard the reversible amount is received from 10-15 days. But in this case , it is more than 45 days... Can any one guide me to solve this issue...

Dear ARUNIYENGARBHAGAVAN,
There is no point in visiting PF office and Bank. Due to Covid 19 pandemic, things are not still in order. No PF office is working with full strength as well the Banks. In banks at branch level, they do not maintain any thing now. The amount which was transferred at wrong IFSC must be lying with central clearing house of the bank. Your visit will go waste.
You are advise to communicate with the bank through email requesting the reversal. If your is SBI then you are fixed. The most lethargic bank of the nation.
