Dear Kau_Pandya,
A very warm welcome to CiteHR!!!
For the Contractual employees, the eligibility of leaves are 1 day for CL and 1 day for SL per mensem. Contractual employees are not eligible for leave enchashments. There are no carry forward process for these employees and in case of no leaves taken they can be adjusted against the waiver of notice period.

If the employees are engaged through Contractor he shall allow them leave under the law applicable to him.It is not your liability.Instead if they are your employees they are eligible for leaves @ applicable to regular employees or at the minimum statutory rate.

Hi,
Employees under contract or company roll, leave is entitled.
One day leave for every 20 Days is the entitlement under factories act.
Apart from this SL,Mternity leave(For Married Females) and CL is also applicable and restricted to conditions.
More Importantly Leave is to be treated as prvillage and not the right.
Thanks

Dear K_P,
It's better you should indicate first about your Estt., is't a factory, or a shop, a mine, or a hospital, society, or what? . Depending on this only it will be known - you R covered under what act etc. and help us to clarify ur position clearly.
