unless you are changing the week offs (rotational) of the employee with prior information. he/she would be eligible for said week offs.
the employee can be on LOP or paid leave, either case you cannot change/remove altogether the week off dates which is part of his calendar.
if there is any unapproved/unauthorized absence treat it as misconduct and investigate accordingly.
