If an employee has to work 3 days in a week, are they eligible to take Sunday off with pay? For example, if an employee works from Monday to Wednesday and then joins back the following Monday, will the company pay them for Sunday or not?

Dear Ankit,

To avail a week off on Sunday, an employee has to work 48 hours in a week, only after which they can take their weekly day off. Therefore, if an employee works 12 hours daily for 4 days, they will become eligible to take a week off.

Vineet
