Dear All,
Regarding EPF transfer of account, please let me know
1) how many copies of Form 13 (Revised) has to be filed regarding inter-regional transfer of EPF account of unexempted enterprise.
2) Can the form be submitted (through the current employer) with the current RPFC? Or the forms has to be sent to the previous RPFC?
3) Though the form does not say it - but is any endorsement of previous employer also required in the form ?
thanks,
Anup

Form 13 shall be submitted in duplicate if the transfer is inter regional.
In form 13, no signature of previous employer is required. It is to be sent to the current employer's EPF office from where the same will be sent to previous employer's EPF office. If the previous employer has not submitted the left employee's form 3 A and break certificate, the EPFO will have to direct the employer to submit the same. However, for the conveniences of the EPFO there are instances whereby the form 13 will be directed through the previous employer also. In such cases, the current employer will have to send the form 13 to the previous employer's EPFO instead of the current employer's EPFO forwarding the same.
