Hi, I have one question to ask. We have one intern in our office and he is going to be on companies payroll on June 5th 2023, we had issue appointment letter early in this year now he is going on marriage leave for 15 Days, 29th May to 14th June.
So my question is "Can we give him joining while he is on leave or we should we extend his joining?"

Hi, Postpone his Date of Joining to a later date which would be the wise decision. If the employee is not available for joining on 5.6.23 due to his Marriage how can you make DOJ as 5th June,2023?

Employee Joining can't be done with out proper joining formalities & to complete such formalities person shall be physically present hence advised to postpone his joining date which will avoid other challenges in future
Also note that how the appointment letter is being issued before joining? You can issue offer letter but not the appointment letter, Appointment letter shall be issued on the day of joining or post joining
