at the time of electronic authentication of form 11, KYC seeding and other formalities, if the account mismatch the account got dorment, and unless the errors are rectified jointly by employer and employee, the fund would not get released

It is the liability of the employer to link the UAN of the member with the PF Number or to generate new UAN Number. EPFO will insist the employer to do so.
If the information in the "Previous Employment" Section in OTCP portal mismatch, the employer can't confirm the details. So, the employer has to get the correct details from the employee and approve the same to link the UAN Number.

@SunnyNIT
We shall always advise to have the earlier UAN attached with new EPF no/s, as it will help you to get a better scope of pension, ( working period of withdrawan fund would also get calculated for persion)

Once the pf fund along with eps fund then it unnecessary to old UAN. Better to apply for new UAN.

Dear All - While joining a new company, during joining formalities, in FORM 11, i mistakenly selected NO for questionaire related to PF member and pension member. But i was a member of both EPF and EPS in my previous organization. I have followed with them thru multiple email for correction of FORM 11 but of no use. My new employer created a PF account but not pension account for me. There were email exchanges b/w me and employer PF department for creation pension account but no action on this. Now my employer planning to take action against me for giving wrong information in FORM 11. What will be the possible action the employer can take ? Thanks !
