PF is applicable as per PF Act to any Employee having basic salary less than 6500 but if some one is receiving more than 6500 basic and he was covered in the PF so PF will be deducted upto bsic (i.e 6500).

Dear Mr.Kushal Ji,
EPF ceiling limit is Rs.6500 (Basic +DA). If your employees are getting more Rs.6500 basic & DA then those employees are not applicable but you have to take Form11 (If you are registered in EPF) & you have to pay some administrative charges.
ESI ceiling limit is Rs.15000 (Gross Salary)

Mr.Kushal,
EPF should pay on Minimum Wages ,just simple you cant take decision factor on Basic component.Recently Delhi high court clearly said splitting of minimum wage is not permissible under payment of EPF.
some companies takes advantage to avoid EPF ,showing Basic component more than Rs.6500/-but it is unlawful.
Please read EPF Wage Definition clearly you can understand.
Thanks,
Naresh
