What can be done inthe case where the employer has submitted PF forms & form 3A of employee in the PF office and there is nothing wrong with the forms. And even after six month employee hasn't got his PF. When he contacted the PF office, the first thing is that they never pick the phone. When he went there personally he was told the amount of his PF and that his cheque will be deposited within 10 to 15 days. But it is one month now, and till now he hasn't received his PF.
Can any of my seniors help me to help this employee as he is very much in need of the money as his daughter has to undergo an heart surgery who is just 4 years old.
This is the case of Thane PF office, Mumbai.

Write to Asst. provident Fund Commissioner with a copy to the Regional PF Commissioner. If no reply is received nor amount credited to your account, file an application under the Right To Information Act. For details about RTI with regard to Provident Fund please visit website of Regional EPF Organisation, Maharashtra.

If the company has not filed returns (form 10) and has not forwarded from 19 and form 10 C( submitted by the employee) along with form 3A, then the file would not get processed at EPF Office. If so, the employee can submit the form 19 and form 10C directly to EPFO after getting his signature attested by the Manager of the Bank to which account the amount is to be credited. A gazetted officer, MP, MLA and such other persons authorised by the EPFO in this respect can also attest the forms. On getting the forms, the EPFO will order the employer to furnish form 3A and other details like break certificate.

For any withdrawal, it takes min 2-3 months to get withdrawal amount. provided all the formalities, like Form 10C, Form 5, 19 along with 3A has been fulfilled.

If you do not get your checque (IN Account) then lodge a complaint in grievance cell at Bhika Ji cama Place ,New Delhi.They will give you a compalint no.Byquoting your complaint no you can Know the status of your p.F.Please mention clearly the detail of P.F office where your account is being maintain,P.F No,Company name,Date of submission of Form,copy of letters written.
