Thank you sandeep but my query is that do i need to ask the company to provide me hard copy of agreement on their letter head as i received the requirement and terms and conditions via mail only by the Sr.HR

Hi,
It is not necessary hard copy of agreement if both parties have a mutual understanding. but for future it require to take a hard copy of both party have mutually signed. if in future any dispute will be observe than for judicial signed copy have to be present for your support.
on the other hand if you left the company and other person will be come then hard copy will also help.
According to my opinion you should be take a hard copy and store in your file to avoid any future dispute.

Ideally agreement should be on notarized stamp paper, signed by authorized signatory to enforce a legal sanctity to the understanding. But industry practices vary a lot...in cases just an MOU is also sufficient to surge ahead on the hiring task. Beware, at times there are cases where even MNCs do not have budget to hire through consultants & you may land up fulfilling the Hiring KRA of respective HR only at the end of the day.
You may choose to go on the business merit of the case or may insist for proper agreement...it is very unlikely that an MNC will refuse unless the representing executive has a different agenda in mind.
