Dear Friends,
Thanks for providing employee law in PDF, But I understand that the material posted in this thread is authored by renowned personality on labour laws-Mr. H.L.Kumar and is published in his books and labour law referencer which is a copyright material.
the PDF file does not even acknowledge the author and reference. Is it correct and ethical on our part..?

It is disgusting on part HR professional to evade copyright and keeps on posting others creation.
If one can not anything of own better go out of forum atleast - if can not leave the profession for obvious reason.
I strongly condemn and endorse views of Mr Anil Kaushik.

You have to ensure that the person who have worked 48 hrs in a week and if works beoynd 48 hrs in a that period is to be of the normal rate of wages. If he works less than 48 hrs in a week, the period upto 48 hrs is to be paid at single rate. For national holidays the rate shall be twice of the normal wages and one holiday it mean three times of his normal wage
