I need clarity on this topic.
My hubby worked in one IT MNC company. He was passed away during his job.
After that I asked employer to make all insurance and gratuity settlement.
They responded me as the gratuity paid in 5 years of service and they don't purchase any kind of life/term/group life insurance to our employee.
I know gratuity is payable in death case if employee had 6 months of job. But need clarification for life insurance. Because when I worked in other IT MNC company, I also had default insurance from employer approximately 12 lakh.
So pls post ur comments for clarity.
