What policy do the companies follow for members who stay late for work and subsequently they end up coming late next day.
In our company we mark 1/2 day leave for 3 late coming. In this perspective want to know what is the best practice going on in the companies across.
can anyone share their best practices in this regard.

Dear,
Greetings!!!
You can offer employees who comes late because of late sitting in previous day.
Share late coming sheet to his / her Head of department for permission for late coming and allow him/ her.
After approval of HOD do not deduct the late coming leave due to good service and service reward.
After few months of observation ask HOD for continuous late sitting of employees in his / her department and ask to change the work planning or man power requirement and do gap analysis accordingly.
