So what really happens to visionary and flamboyant leaders we have come to expect over past many years? What happens to the visionary leaders who inspire many other, are we really done with individual leadership?
Where does the vision come from? You know, one person can drive an idea and get all the people excited about it, but when you get to a more mature kind of business where is the future vision? The future vision may not come from one person but it may be co-created by people who have shared work or shared interests in a company and make it sustainable over a long time. The thing about visionary leadership is that the vision is not something I give to all employees, it’s about people who are vested in taking a company forward, co-create.
