I am using LinkedIn from the last 10 years, but recently find this has become Facebook, many professionals shares unprofessional posts and pictures like cartoon, memes, and family pictures.

I believe this has become FB and LinkedIn is not controlling this anymore.

Address your question to Microsoft and ask them why they are allowing it. My guess is while it is making money, they don't care.

None of us can answer your question unless there are any employees of Linkedin/Microsoft here.

LinkedIn has transformed into a social site akin to Facebook for several reasons, making it a valuable platform for personal and professional engagement. To create a LinkedIn account and leverage its social aspects:

Profile Creation: Begin by setting up a comprehensive LinkedIn profile. Add a professional photo, detailed work experience, education, and skills. This serves as your online professional identity.

Content Sharing: Utilize LinkedIn's content-sharing features to post articles, images, and videos. Share professional insights, achievements, and industry news to engage with your network.

Engagement Features: Take advantage of LinkedIn's engagement features, such as liking, commenting, and sharing. Interact with the content shared by your connections to build a meaningful professional network.

Personal Branding: Leverage LinkedIn for personal branding. Showcase your expertise, achievements, and projects to establish a strong professional identity similar to how individuals brand themselves on Facebook.

Groups and Communities: Join LinkedIn groups and communities related to your industry. Participate in discussions, share your knowledge, and connect with like-minded professionals.

Job Search and Recruitment: Use LinkedIn for job searching and recruitment. Share job updates, industry news, and career-related content. Connect with recruiters and professionals to enhance your career opportunities.

Informal Communication: While maintaining professionalism, engage in casual and informal communication on LinkedIn. Share anecdotes, personal experiences, and light-hearted content to connect with your network on a more personal level.

Algorithmic Changes: Stay updated on LinkedIn's algorithm changes. Create content that resonates with your audience to ensure higher visibility on users' feeds.

Expanded User Base: As LinkedIn's user base continues to grow globally, embrace the diversity of the platform. Connect with professionals from different backgrounds, industries, and cultures to broaden your network.

By combining these steps with the existing content, you can create a LinkedIn profile that not only serves as a professional networking tool but also embraces the social elements, making it a powerful platform for personal and career growth.
