Dear Sir,
I am an HR fresher from the 2012 batch and I am currently trying to secure my first job. In order to explore better opportunities, I am considering joining training institutes. It appears that most job vacancies require trained and experienced individuals. Could you please provide guidance on whether this would be a good decision?
Thank you.

Dear Aparna,
I understand your situation as a fresher; it is quite difficult to find a job as most of the opportunities require experienced individuals. Here is what I suggest: keep trying to find a job because after completing training, it is not guaranteed that you will secure a position.
Thank you.

As a HR fresher, joining a training institute will definitely strengthen your CV, but it does not guarantee a job. You should consider combining training with job searching. As a fresher, you may be able to secure an MTO (Management Training Officer) position.

Depending upon the institute that you choose, you may be spending good money for nothing. Keep trying and look for management trainee posts.

Hi Aparna,
As a fresher, we make some common mistakes (even so-called experienced individuals like me make mistakes and learn). The most common mistake is not conducting a SWOT analysis of ourselves. Many times, we only look for "big companies," and those "big companies" tend to seek candidates only from elite B schools or those with experienced backgrounds.
If you pursue your passion (rather than just a job), I am confident you will succeed. If you have any specific queries, feel free to email me at josri1972@gmail.com.
All the best.
Regards

Hi Aparna,
If you have completed an MBA, I am sure your institute has trained you well and made you job-ready. What you need to focus on is enhancing your skills, which the training institute might help with, but there is no guarantee that you will secure a job just because you are trained. Experience is different from training, so increase your knowledge base and keep searching for jobs. Polish your skills, identify your weaknesses, and work on them. Most importantly, set clear goals.
