Dear Friends, I work as a HR in a organisation with a strength of 25 employees. Our organisation is very strict on following the official timings such as the log in and log out timings. There have been instances such as employees leaving early due to emergency, personal work etc.
The management being strict wants employees to follow strict protocols such as informing on early leaving on mail and seeking permission for the same. Want to understand if we have any policies as such or can a clause be added about the same in the leave policy?
Would appreciate your views and share any details if following.
Need help soon on this.
Regards
Beena

short leave clause you can add in Leave Policy and for following office timings Log In & Log Out system you can add in Attendance Policy.

Dear Beena,
This is with regards to your query, kindly refer below points...
* Employees are requested to clock in at least Eight and Half hrs a day failing so will be treated as absence to work and deemed as half day absence to work.
* Any leave beyond 4 hours will be treated as full day leave and leave for less than 4 hours will be treated as half day leave.
* Absence from normal work place due to outdoor duty, leave, late coming, early going etc. is permitted only with prior permission of the HOD or HR Dept. and this also needs to be in writing.
Thanks,
Ubaid Raheman.
