Hi,
I was working with a software firm at Chennai, I worked there for 50 days only. at the time of joining I signed a service agreement that says serving of 1 month notice before leaving the company. I was frustrated with the work and the facility of the company to the extent that i quit the company without serving notice period.
I had various family issues too at the same duration.
Now the company asking me to come back and serve the notice period, otherwise they will take legal action against me.
please help me out to here, I am ready to pay them 1 month salary as notice period as a industry rule.
What should I do to avoid legal problems?

in my case little different,
i am from Hyd, company is in pune ( worked in chennai -on site project).
i have served 7 months ( 6 months prohibition period) to the company. I am under 2yrs bond(Rs.100/-stamp paper) & 2 lacs breakage amount, 1 month notice period in writing.
i did'nt give any resignation letter/email in writing but i told to my management VERBALLY 1.5 months before i left from company.
But reason of leaving is my father critical health condition. the same i told to them but tyey did'nt agree.
now they send a lawyer (RPAD) to me saying that within 7 days have to re-join or else pay 2.5 lac.
i don't want to re-join again & also not able to pay that much.
Is that bond legally valid? if yes, what they will do as amount able to pay any small amount also.
hope u will give best solution.
thanks in advance.
