Hi ,

I am M.A.S (master in administrative science ) in HR an exclusive HR degree in the country there is no MBA with HR in my city while the city has 75%industries located here and have diploma in labour laws, from last 2 and half years I am still unemployed the reason behind this is discrimination (I come to know that b/c many interviewers clearly say that we cant hire u b/c of this otherwise u r the best qualified candidate for the job). Wherever I go for interview they rejected me or u can say they search ways to reject me . if they talk about experience I don’t have any experience except a 6 week internship n that’s not in HR so I don’t have any practical experience of HR.

I wanna know specially from seniors wat r the weaknesses in my resume or where I can improve my image in selection of word that they wanna interview me b/c they r really urge to listen to me and consider that I m the best and that discrimination wont come in my way of employment.

Below I m mentioning some want ads. My resume is attached in light of these ads plz tell me if u want to hire n gave the ad in paper wat kind of resume n person u want to hire for the post .b/c I don’t have any experience I cant show that I did this n this .although there are so many things I know like policy designing ,performance appraisals designing ,TNA to name the some .besides I m very good at labour laws which is normally not the case and I m surely at the cutting edge in this regard.

• a newly established organization needs 1. manager HR for its head office preferable females (MBA,MPA,MAS) min 3 years experience ,excellent communication skills ,able to make HR policies 2.Asst.manager HR (MBA/MPA) min 3 years experience and well versed with HRMS.

NOTE: for 1 no experience otherwise I qualify while for 2 I m not qualified in any term I don’t have anything from the list mentioned .

• A well reputed organization requires services of HR manager MBA with minimum 5 years experience .send resume with 2 references .

NOTE: no experience again ,have references in which at least 1 is of a manager HR at a good pharmaceutical and an M.A.S is far more equipped in HR .

• A leading NGO requires a HR Manager MBA(HR) must have sufficient experience of handling HR department age 35 to 45 total overview of all the activities pertaining to HR Development/ Planning and training of different cadre of employees.

NOTE: I m underage and inexperienced.

Plz guide me wat to do ,can I make my resume more attractive n improved can i say i have developed some HR policies ?what r the areas I should focus in light of the above mentioned ads and in case u r the employer what r the areas u wan to focus in interview after seeing my resume .

Hi Friend,
Dont get disappointed, your turn will also come.
Please make some changes in ur resume.
1.Remove details related to public administration
2.Reference details
3.DOB
Focus in detail about various areas in HR, you are confident.
Since it is late, i dont know I should say but sometimes need to say, you can put few exp fake.
Because as HR, I will get a doubt that why you have not got job till now.
I now very well getting a job depends on various reasons like knowledge, experience, candidate appearance, good attitude, confident and last luck.
If possible join a company without salary, that way atleast you will get experience and then you can ask for salary or look for better opportuinty.
Many people do the same to get experience.
Dont worry, be strong..
Let me know when you get job
I will Happy to hear
Thanks
Pallavi. :)

Hi Polky
There is absolutely nothing wrong with being young age. In fact, you should make use of it to your advantage. I recommend reading a book - Winning Job Interviews by Dr Paul Powers. It is a good guide.
Happy Job Hunting!

Hi,
I just gone thru the comments and ur concern..... u can send your cv to consultants and ask them to find jobs for you, even you tell consultants that you are willing to work in their consultancy since you will get the exposure to recruitment there and if its big consultancy then other exposure in HR also you will get.Upload your cv on job portals like monster.com,naukri.com and others
A apart from this you can read newspapers, be in touch with your friends who have passed out from your batch, see where they are placed, where they are trying, also get in touch with your faculty seniors they will be of help. Talk to your professors ask them if some campus recruitment is done if not ask them to get you placed. Or give names of the company who are looking for fresher.
If you do these I am sure you will find your way and don’t loose hope.
All the Best.

Hi
I have gone through your resume.
One has to work hard to find your strengths which advocate for you to get the job.
I feel you can start your resume with your profile in which you say briefly about your personality, attitude and reflect on your experience in internship and teaching.
Secondly , a fresher cannot become Hr manger in which at least 4-5 years experience is required.
You should preferably apply for a HR Executive. Recruitment firms are always in need for such profile.
Where are you located.?
It will be a good idea to get your resume done by a professional like naurkri or monster etc.
All the best
