Employees Compensation Act shall not apply to all employees in a commercial establishments. It shall apply to all employees in a factory kind of establishments but when it comes to shops and commercial establishments only selected employees as described in the schedule II of the Act only will be covered. Schedule II iss attached for your perusal.
