Dear Fellow members,
I am trying to identify which mode of delivery one should opt for as a HR or Learning and Development manager to train the employees on certain skill sets For ex. Soft Skill
1. Class Room Methodology - For limited number of participants in company premises and using office hours
2. Online Mode - With No limit on numbers and giving them access any time any where with out disturbing the official productivity

Dear Sir,
In my personal opinion, Class room methodology will help participants focus on what is being taught in the class room. The advantage with class room mode is that, the trainer will have a grip on the attention span of the participants and can quickly change the atmosphere. Online mode is not effective with this kind of agility and trainers if available can't gauge the distractions. Moreover, even videos are used, participants can sometimes get passive and hence, could miss out on key learnings.
I understand your concern on productivity of the employees. But I suggest that you consider class-room trainings for the best results.
Thank You,

Hi Bhushan,
In our opinion, you can consider a combination of both.
1. Start with a Class Room session. (Possible to get immediate feedback / you can also see who are really interested etc.,)
2. Follow-up through online sessions. (Adv: Anywhere / Any time / no loss to office hours. Dis-adv: Employees may think that they are losing personal time / technical glitches / no supervision)
3. Periodical review - again by a class room session.
This is the model by which we deliver sessions on MS OFFICE (in particular Excel and Access) as well as Communicative English sessions. Just in case you are interested to know more about our services, please send mail to
Thanks & regards,
