Dear Seniors,
I need to prepare a memo regarding cutting of leaves and working sundays too for our employees. This memo of regulation is only for this month for completing our ongoing project. The project is in the final stage.
Kindly give me some tips or points which I can include while preparing memo.
Actually for our company this memo is highly needed. The situation is like that.
So I am humbly requesting all of you to contribute your valuable and very positive points.
Please excuse thoughts which is against this memo.

Inorder to issue memo to your employees.pls get co-operation from your employees and tell them we are in final stage of our project.so ask them don't take leave / sunday will be working only forthis month.
Also it will be based upon your Company Standing Order.Pls let me know your industry,

Below is the memo I prepared.
Please correct
As you know, we are under a tight schedule to meet our "Project name" deadline, which unfortunately, delayed a lot. Without your contribution I’m afraid we will not succeed in completing this project. I am sorry to have to inform you the below decision.
1. Hereby cutting all the permitted leaves.
2. Sunday would be a working day.
The above decision is valid till successful launching of website.

Hi,
Do not issue memo, issue a circular mentioning everyone should continuously work towards completeion of the Project and till then no Leaves / holidays will be granted. There are lots of difference between a memo. Also mention that the circular is issued in the interest of the Company to meet the financial goals.
Also you can mention that employees working on Sundays (company declared holidays) will be given compensatory leave in future (but not encashable) to avoid any legal consequences if anyone approaches labour court.
Hope you are clear in issuing a circular.

Please let me know has the Management - operations agreed to this?

If the management or may be group leaders are with you, then they can easily handle the team members to cooperate with the company.

I would advise you have a proper meeting in presence of the Most senior person of the company intimating the employees:
>Where you are presently?
>What is the target?
>How much time you have to complete that target?
>If not completed on time, what will be the consequences.

If your employees are still not bothered about the completion of the Project that is important for the company, then some Good Offer can be given to them.(Best Performer Gift) or may be a team Party.

If all these things doesnt work for you, then you have full right to be strict with them. Please donot use the word memo.

Edited Notice or Circular

As communicated to you, we are under a tight schedule and work pressure to meet our "Project name" deadline, which unfortunately have been delayed a lot. So, as to complete the project on time, the following decisions have been taken by the management till the completion of the Project:

1. No leaves will be sanctioned within this period
2. Sunday would be a working day.

Note: Compensatory Off will be given to you in lieu of Sundays working.

Pls suggest the points by saini.pls discuss seperately with the project team leaders and opposing guys/others.find out the problem,reason behind it & their expectation than inform to your boss/management.
My suggestion is better to explain imporatnce of the project / cleint / projected period of the of the project & how we schedule / their importance to the project/reason for the no leave - sunday working /present sceneraio of the field.Pls select groupwise/category wise and adivce them softly.
I thought that bcz of sunday work they are accepting,so pay them double wages,incentives,refreshment.allowances.

pls communicate the importance of hardwork for few days, i think your co-workers will accept the situation. personaly met peolpe, who are taking leave often and if they in any personal problem try to help them and then they will automatically concentrate on their work.
