It is unfortunate that you have been fired. The employers who feel that an employee is not upto their expectations can ask the employee to go. No law compels hat a poor performer should be retained. If they had given you an opportunity to leave, you should have accepted it. Your worry that you may not get another opportunity is right because nobody will hire a person who was fired by an employer for poor performance. Now the only remedy available is to admit the wrong stand taken by you and submit resignation pre dated and get relieved with a certificate which does not indicate termination or poor performance.

Suggesion/advice given by Mr Madhu T K is practical. No employer wants to ruin the future of an employee; Rather, they will help whatever possible way- but within the ambit of their standard procedures. So the poster can approach the management of company and submit an earlier dated resignation and get his relieving order mentioning the reason for separation as Resignation, as,
by and large HR managers shall be hesitant to recruit a person whose services are terminated by previous employer.
