Hi Rajesh,
Thanks to Leo for the answer...
Just would like to make one change..add a row for rejections from the customers/damaged goods which are taken back by the company.. rest all the format remains the same...

RAJAT,
These are sales through dealers/resellers.
and the sales transactions are between the reseller and customer.
WHEN the goods are damaged , it is replaced with a new one.
WHEN the customers return goods , but still in new conditions,
it remains in the dealers stock.
SO THE NET SALES TRANSACTIONS REMAINS THE SAME.
HENCE THESE TRANSACTIONS ARE NOT SHOWN IN THE STATEMENT.
========================================
IF the company was involved in direct sales to the customers,
then this logic of goods returned would be applicable.

Hi,
I know that your post is a little dated, however in case you are now looking for an IT solution to enable you to track secondary sales then a solution by Brainwave (BrainWave - Advanced Process Control Technology) maybe what you are looking for.
They have an interesting case study available at http://www.brainwavelive.com/product...case-study.pdf
which may be of interest to you.
Best Regards.

Does anyone have any solution to track secondary sales. We receive secondary stock statements from our field staff on monthly basis. We are in search of an automated system to get these statements entered in the system & get us ready reports or atleast raw data which we can use to generate various reports. Presently we have SAP & web system linked to sap from where we get primary sales. We need to link secondary also to this system. If anyone knows this then please mail me @
