Hi, One of a friend has one motor vehicle case under 279/338/304a but that is a false allegation. He is in a reputed MNC (Software Company). So my question is Can he change/switch to another MNC like TCS/CTS/Infosys or jp Morgan like a company or it will be stuck in background verification. Kindly help him in the above regard.

Dear member,
You could have provided the details of the case. Anyway, the details of the sections of IPC under which your friend has been booked are as below:
Section 279: - Rash driving or riding on a public way
Section 338: - Causing grievous hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others
Section 304A: - Causing death by negligence
The charges under which police have booked your friend are serious. It is impossible to predict how the recruitment authorities will look at the charges. However, if the case is going on, then till the court gives its ruling, your friend cannot be held guilty. Therefore, he may approach other companies to pursue better opportunities. If you say that he has been booked falsely, then much depends on a lawyer who defends his case. Your friend's innocence has to be proved in court.
The other way to look at the situation is to lie low till the outcome of the court case. Once the court acquits him, he can very well approach other companies for better opportunities. I say so because by chance if your friend clears the recruitment tests and interview, but in case his candidature is turned down owing to the court case at hand, it will only disappoint him. So why take a chance?
Thanks,
