Hello All,
I am working into training and placements since last six years and i intend to write a research paper on the topic" Does student training & grooming programs provided by management institutes impact the final selection of students during campus placements?"
I searched for previous works on this topic and related articles but could not find anything on the internet. How can I write the Literature review of the paper?
Can I write a research paper without a literature review?
Can a case study be written on the same topic/ if yes, how to write a case study?

Please check the websites of top universities and focus on their placements page. Quite a few universities, especially the private universities in India narrate the amount of emphasis they put on pkacements and how they prepare their students to be succesful in the campus interviews. You could also check the placement pages of universities abroad, such as universities in Singapore, US, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. You will find enough info for review of literature. After that you can plan data gathering and take forward your research

Rima, My view on your task on hand is that, you should start with your own co's experience, go over to other such counter parts in other co's, consultants (both individuals & firms), then on to sample survey taken from users in those cos and so on. and consider views published and unpublished to add. I'm sure you are going to get mixed responses. This I hope should provide you ample base to build upon where to go and how. Research, as it means, should be done by researching and not by searching alone. I hope I made my thinking on this clear to you.
